History:
The British School of Nanjing opened its doors to students in 2007 offering exceptional education for children in Early Years, Primary and Secondary school, including Sixth Form. In its eleventh year, the school moved to its new and modern Mountain View campus located in Southern Nanjing with a diverse student body of 320 pupils.

The British School of Nanjing’s Mountain View campus is located on a quiet street in Jiangning, Nanjing, which is close to prominent expatriate residential compounds. It is also nestled at the foot of the magnificent Cuiping Mountain, at the boundary of Jiangjun National Park.
The Mountain View campus started operating in January 2016 and features world-class facilities including an indoor swimming pool, basketball court, football pitch, indoor gym, a dance studio, dedicated kitchen and dining facilities, enclosed play areas, Foundation-Stage gym, an auditorium, walkways through forests, and a Self Organised Learning Environment (SOLE) room.
These campus features are not only safe, age-appropriate and enjoyable – they are also designed to complement the education the school provides.
The classrooms of The British School of Nanjing are well-resourced and is equipped to meet English National Curriculum standards. Interactive whiteboards are a standard in all classes. In addition to the standard classrooms, there are specialist areas which include an ICT room, music rooms equipped with practice suites, science laboratories, an art room, a three-level library and language rooms, like Chinese and EAL classrooms.
